About faith. It can be generally described as the confidence or trust placed upon a person, thing or concept. In most, if not all cases, faith is related to religion. In matters of religion, faith is referred to as the belief in God or in doctrines or teachings of the specific religion. For example in Christianity it’s the belief in God and Jesus Christ His son. Faith in Islam can only be acquired by the will of Allah. Almost same with Christianity as it is a gift from God. In Hindu and Buddhism it is the trust in the Guru or buddhist yoga or spiritual preceptors. In all, whether in Bahai, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, Christianity or Sikhism there is an element of trust.
For me, faith is a higher level of trust in one’s belief and with which one can proclaim affiliations to a certain religion. That’s why those without faith have non. Faith is the building block to religions and that’s my stand.
